Job Description
Lead and scale all plant operations, including Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Test, Safety, and Maintenance
Own overall plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
Build organizational structure and team capability to support increasing production volumes
Ensure production plans align with customer demand and shipment targets
Partner with Engineering on manufacturability, quality, and new product introduction
Lead workforce planning, hiring, and leadership development
Oversee Test operations to ensure products meet performance standards
Own Quality performance, including defect reduction and corrective actions
Lead Maintenance strategy to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, A3, standard work, 5S)
Lead cost-reduction and productivity improvement projects with measurable results
Improve process stability, flow, and throughput across production areas
Present operational performance and improvement progress to senior leadership
Ensure improvements are sustained through controls and standardized processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Plant Manager for this role will have experience leading manufacturing operations through growth and change, not simply maintaining steady-state production. They should be comfortable owning total plant performance and leading through people at all levels of the organization. Specifically, strong candidates will bring:
Experience scaling production in a fast-growth manufacturing environment
Proven success driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics
Hands-on leadership of supervisors and functional leaders
Deep exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
Comfort operating on the shop floor while engaging strategically with senior leadership
A data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and financial acumen
Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
