Operating within a technically advanced environment, the organization is committed to innovation, operational excellence, employee development, and continuous investment in manufacturing capabilities.Job DescriptionThe Plant Manager will:Lead the overall performance of the machine shop, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.Manage and develop Production Supervisors, CNC Programmers, CNC Machinists, and production personnel.Drive a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.Establish operational priorities and optimize resources to meet production targets and customer commitments.Monitor and improve key performance metrics relating to productivity, quality, delivery, equipment utilization, and safety.Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams to improve manufacturing effectiveness.Support new product introductions and ensure manufacturing readiness for production launches.Identify operational challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, efficiency, and operational performance.Develop future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.Oversee capital equipment planning, justification, implementation, and process improvement investments.Ensure the machine shop has the people, equipment, and processes required to support business growth and customer expectations.Adapt operations to changing customer requirements within a dynamic contract manufacturing environment.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
