Plant Manager, Operations

I am currently seeking a dynamic Operations/Plant Manager near Laurens, IA, to lead and optimize all aspects of our hydraulic component production environment. This is a newly created position looking for a hands-on leader who can bridge strategic continuous improvement with daily floor operations, offering a direct path for growth into a General Manager role.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Proven Leadership: 5+ years of experience directing manufacturing operations, ideally within precision machining or hydraulic components.
• Continuous Improvement: Formal training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred) to eliminate waste and optimize throughput.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CNC machining, assembly processes, metal fabrication, and ERP/MRP planning systems.
• Culture Builder: Ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors and cross-functional teams toward a high-performance culture.
• Operational Excellence: Manage plant budgets, drive root-cause analyses, and oversee KPIs spanning safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
