Provide leadership and direction for all manufacturing and plant operations. Oversee production, scheduling, quality, maintenance, inventory control, logistics, and operational performance. Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability. Establish, monitor, and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, labor utilization, downtime, waste, scrap, and on-time delivery. Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the operation. Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies. Lead initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, labor costs, and production variability. Improve manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, workflow, and overall plant performance. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support to production supervisors and plant personnel. Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing operations team. Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and customer service standards. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to achieve operational objectives. Support quality initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction and product excellence. Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Manage labor, budgets, and plant resources to achieve financial objectives. Participate in strategic planning related to staffing, capacity, equipment, and operational improvements. Lead problem-solving efforts related to production, quality, equipment, and customer issues. Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and employee engagement across the operation. Perform other duties as assigned.
