Job Summary:
Seeking a Plant Modeling Engineer to develop sensor and actuator virtual models for vehicle controls and virtual engineering environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate plant models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Interpret electrical drawings, wiring, sensors, actuators, and diagnostics.
• Support SiL, HiL, ViL, and CoSim environments.
• Execute testing, data acquisition, model validation, and releases.
• Collaborate with controls, calibration, hardware, validation, and supplier teams.
  

Required Skills:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Simulink and plant modeling experience.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, SPI, and Ethernet.
• Experience with S-Functions/FMU and simulation environments.
• Understanding of automotive sensors, actuators, and controller interfaces.
  

Preferred: Automotive propulsion/controls experience, dSPACE, Simscape, GT-Power, Git/SVN/TFS, ETAS INCA, and CAN/LIN/SENT.
