Plant Operator

Luck Stone Bull Run Plant is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join their team. Production is the core of our business. Our Plant Operators monitor our crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, and bins to maximize production and provide quality products. Since safety is a top priority at Luck, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition through hands-on maintenance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Pre-shift inspection of the plant
• Assist with preventative and reactive maintenance: changing screens, greasing, changing rollers, belt splices, rebuilding crushers, welding, assisting blaster as needed
• Consistently inspect and monitor plant to ensure proper operation
• Assists with other site projects as requested by management and team members
• Flexibility to assist team members as needed with other projects
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• Prior experience preferred operating and/or performing hands on maintenance in a similar environment
• Mechanically inclined-proven work experience a must
• Basic welding or torch skills are a plus
• Passion for learning
• Comfortable working from elevated platforms and other heights outdoors without fear

Pay starts at $27.31 per hour could increase upon skills and experience evaluation from management through the interview process.
