**Responsibilities:

Responsible for learning the skills necessary to assist with production and manufacturing of products, daily quality control activities associated with production, tracking and maintaining raw material inventories, meeting shipment and delivery schedules, receipt handling via truck and rail, following the facility housekeeping objectives, ensuring assets are properly maintained, and HollyFrontier EH&S policies are understood and followed under close and constant supervision.

**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with visual tank gauging to verify automatic systems.
Performs general plant cleaning.
Assists with maintenance tasks.
Loads and unloads trucks and railcars.
Assists with paperwork involving basic math skills.
Performs special assignments or other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**REQUIRED SKILLS:
**
Basic computer skills.
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Experience or willingness to use hand tools, power tools, shovels, rakes, forklifts, tractors, and man-lifts.
Ability to complete required certifications and training within the first 90 days.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORK CONDITIONS:
Outdoor work in a petroleum refinery, warehouse, and plant environment.
Exposure to chemicals, tanks, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and confined spaces.
Must be available to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb up to 180 feet.
Operate company vehicles (valid driver's license and proof of insurance required).
Ability to distinguish colors.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE); beards are not permitted where PPE requirements apply.
Ability to perform strenuous physical work.
