The Production Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the manufacturing processes within our facility in Springdale, AR. This position is responsible for ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. The Production Manager will lead a team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. By analyzing production metrics and implementing best practices, the manager will drive operational excellence and optimize resource utilization. Ultimately, the goal is to deliver products that meet customer expectations while maximizing productivity and minimizing waste.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations to ensure that manufacturing schedules are met.
Manage and mentor production staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills.
Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
Prepare and analyze production reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
