Title: Plant Production Worker

Location: West Point, NE

Shift: 2/2/3 Rotating Schedule (e.g., 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on) | 12-hour shifts

Pay: $20.70-$21.70/hour

 Job Summary

The Plant Production Worker is responsible for supporting both production lines and overall facility upkeep in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires dependability, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Production Line Support: Handle and securely position 55 lb. blocks of product onto the production line before pushing them into the machinery for processing.
• Material Handling: Safely move, maneuver, and transport heavy materials utilizing a manual pallet jack.
• Facility Maintenance: Assist with overall facility cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Inventory & Support: Unbox, sort, and organize raw materials, supplies, and perform other general utility tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation requirements, and company safety policies.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous labor, warehouse, manufacturing, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates!
• Skills: Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions and safely operate or learn to operate basic warehouse equipment.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Heavy Lifting & Pushing: Ability to frequently lift, push, and roll products weighing up to 55 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Environment: Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment and stand/walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
