    Description

    Overview The Plant Quality Manager is responsible for leading and managing all quality-related activities within the production plant. This role has full responsibility for the plant's quality management system, including sampling plans, measurement and testing systems, process documentation, compliance with internal and external quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across all quality processes.

    Responsibilities Provide leadership to create a performance-driven organization and foster continuous improvement of all metrics and quality processes. Provide leadership, direction to the quality team and be a driving force in reducing defects, scrap, and customer returns. Continue to foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve process control, quality yields, and reduce DPPMs. Lead and coordinate efforts in maintaining and improving product, systems, and process quality. Provide training to the manufacturing organization in measurement methods and quality improvement techniques. Take a leadership role in developing and implementing advanced quality principles. Oversee process capability studies, corrective action, and material non-conformance systems. Monitor and report on key measurements associated with the operation. Interacts directly with customers to understand their needs and incorporates those into the continuous improvement processes. Be enthusiastic, hardworking, results oriented, with a can-do attitude.

    Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or other technical discipline. 10+ years professional experience in manufacturing. Supervisor experience as Quality Manager, Operation Manager or Plant Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing organization. Knowledgeable in world class manufacturing principles, including advanced product quality planning tools and methodologies such as PFMEA, MSA, DOE, SPC, and Control Plan. Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and implement changes. Experience developing inspection and test methods. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Demonstrated experience working directly with customers. Thorough understanding of statistical theory and application. Knowledge of SPC, spreadsheet, word-processing, and manufacturing-control software applications. Written and verbal fluency in both English and Arabic, including ability to present to company's executives in both languages. Willingness to travel up to 20%.

    Desired Qualifications MBA or MS degree in a technical field. Experience with ERP system, InfinityQS software applications. Experience with implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM). Experience in supplier management. Six Sigma Black Belt.
