POSITION SUMMARY
The role of Plant Quality Technician directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. Working together as part of Production Quality Assurance (PQA) team, reporting to PQA Manager, the Plant Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that the incoming goods, in-process and final product meet the established quality standards.
The Plant Quality Technician would work closely with production and different global areas. Your role would be to inspect, audit, analyze, evaluate, accept or reject incoming goods and final product, manage and coordinate quality deviations, problem solving, analyze the root causes and propose improvements, preventive and corrective actions with the main goal to ensure the quality standard defined during the entire process.

High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in quality or Technical Field (preferred).
3 years of professional experience in quality control in the manufacturing industry.
2 years of professional experience in quality control in wind turbine manufacturing (preferred).
Solid knowledge of quality inspection techniques and quality standards.
Understanding of electrical or mechanical systems and components.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and quality management systems (e.g., SAP QM).
Experience in opening and following up on non-conformities related to the production line.
Responsible, structured, and independent work approach.
High level of attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with different departments.
Strong work ethic and dedication to completing tasks.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong leadership skills,
Ability to handle constantly changing challenges and quickly adapt to new situations.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to read and interpret electrical or mechanical schematics.
Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System is a plus.
