Top responsibilities

  • Coordinate and direct daily maintenance: preventive, corrective, and emergency work across all shifts.
  • Schedule and track work orders within the CMMS.
  • Plan and supervise shutdowns, new equipment installations, and vendor activities.
  • Coach, train, and develop maintenance technicians to raise team capability.
  • Enforce safety standards and LOTO compliance.
  • Lead rapid response during breakdowns; triage and prioritize repairs to cut downtime.
  • Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory.
  • Interface with PLCs and VFDs via laptop tools to diagnose faults and monitor I/O; support production troubleshooting.
  • Drive root cause analysis on chronic mechanical/electrical failures.
  • Assist with welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications.
  • Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers on site.
  • Continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.
  • 2+ years in a lead or supervisor capacity (preferred).
  • Expert troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment—mechanical and electrical.
  • Hands-on welding and fabrication background.
  • Industrial electrical experience with PLCs/plant automation (preferred).
  • Ability to support multiple shifts as needed.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, CMMS, and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
