Role snapshot

  • Title: Plant Reliability Technician — Electrical Systems
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour overnights, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
  • Weekend work: Not required

Your impact

  • Keep production assets reliable through expert installation, service, and repair.
  • Lead by example: train entry-level techs and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Apply safety standards consistently across all tasks and areas.
  • Test and validate electrical circuits using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Install conduit, conductors, breakers, fuses, starters, and motors in compliance with the National Electric Code.
  • Diagnose and correct issues with AC/DC motors and variable-frequency/drive systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment; read ladder logic and resolve faults.
  • Perform PMs and document all work orders within the CMMS.
  • Interpret schematics, OEM manuals, and technical bulletins to expedite repairs.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and JLG aerial equipment safely.
  • Organize daily workload, meet deadlines, and maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.
  • Provide short-notice overtime coverage when operational needs arise.
  • Operate a company vehicle/truck on occasion—valid driver’s license required.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or closely related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, or equivalent education/experience blend.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; able to listen and speak clearly with teammates.
  • Electrical experience highly preferred.
