Role Description

Seeking an experienced Planview PPM Specialist with strong expertise in Planview architecture, functional modules, administration, integrations, reporting, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Planview Portfolio Management / CA PPM, including configuration, administration, data migration, integrations, automation, and reporting.

Prior Planview implementation experience is mandatory.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to deliver Planview solutions, integrate Planview with Jira and other enterprise applications, automate business processes, support reporting requirements, and troubleshoot environment and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end Planview Portfolio implementation and configuration.
• Configure and administer Planview PPM / CA PPM environments.
• Work with Planview architecture, functional modules, workflows, integrations, and reporting.
• Integrate Planview with Jira and third-party applications using SOAP Web Services and other integration technologies.
• Support data migration and integration between Planview/SPM and other enterprise applications.
• Configure and support functional modules including:
  • Project Management
  • Portfolio Management
  • Resource Management
  • Time Sheet Management
  • Financial Management
  • Demand Management
• Configure and maintain Jaspersoft Reports and CA PPM Studio.
• Design and maintain data models, schemas, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop SQL queries and reports using Power BI and Report Builder.
• Automate workflows and business processes using UiPath and/or Power Automate.
• Set up and support OKRs and AgilePlace within Planview to facilitate Agile processes.
• Support Planview/CA PPM administration activities, including:
  • Time Period Setup
  • Resource Setup
  • Project Financials
  • User Security
  • Jobs Setup and Scheduling
  • Processes
  • Jaspersoft Report Scheduling
  • Financial Setup
  • New UX
• Interact with vendor support to resolve environment, performance, and application-related issues.
• Proactively identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
• Document processes, data flows, configurations, integrations, and reporting structures.
• Support process documentation and change management initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Support migration from other PPM tools where required.
