Responsibilities
Set up and operate plasma cutting machines and brake presses according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow.
Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or fabrication preferred.
Proven experience as a Plasma and Brake Press Operator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
