Job Full Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Plasma Torch Operator to cut and process aluminum and stainless steel materials. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets with face shields and anti-burn gear. Basic knowledge of metals and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a plasma torch to cut aluminum and stainless steel components
  • Wear required PPE at all times, including helmet with face shield and anti-burn gear
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly
  • Assist in handling and processing materials before and after cutting
  • Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of metals, specifically aluminum and stainless steel
  • Previous experience with plasma torch operation preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Good work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to wear PPE and work in physically demanding conditions
Work Environment:
  • Industrial or fabrication shop setting
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and metal fumes
  • Physically active role requiring standing, bending, and lifting
Schedule:
  • Full-time; shift details to be provided during the interview
