Plastic Extrusion Line Set Up Operator
Shift: 3rd, (5 PM-5:30 AM) Training on 1st
Pay: $20-$25/hr. (Based on Experience)
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with plastic extrusion, machine setup, CNC setup, or other manufacturing equipment experience who enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in a team-oriented environment.
Job Description:
- Review production orders and written job requirements.
- Gather the proper materials for each production run.
- Set up tooling within extrusion and expansion process parameters.
- Set up and operate extrusion, expansion, and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor production lines to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and conformance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualification:
- Previous plastic extrusion experience preferred.
- CNC setup or machine setup experience is highly transferable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
