Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator — Overnight Shift

Location: Aurora, OH
Pay: $20.28/hour
Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM | 12-hour overnight shifts | 2-2-3 schedule

Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring an experienced Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing team in Aurora, OH. This is a hands-on overnight role supporting the production of high-quality PVC conduit, pipe, fittings, and related products.

What You’ll Do

As a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator, you will:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion lines
  • Adjust machine settings, including temperatures, speeds, and material flow
  • Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot production issues and make equipment adjustments
  • Monitor raw materials and help maintain continuous production flow
  • Complete production documentation and quality records
  • Assist with changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and routine maintenance
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidates will have:
  • At least 1 year of plastic extrusion, machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical experience
  • Experience with extrusion or continuous-process manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow production specifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts and lift up to 55 lbs

Schedule Details
