    Join VEKA's Sustainability Team

    Location: Fombell, PA
    Schedule: Flexible Shift Options Available
    Pay Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

    Help Turn Waste into Opportunity

At VEKA, sustainability is more than a goal. It is part of how we manufacture innovative products every day. As a Plastic Recycling Operator, you will play a direct role in our recycling process by transforming PVC material into valuable recycled material used in VEKA's Outdoor Living Products (OLP).

If you are looking for a hands-on position where your work contributes to environmental responsibility and waste reduction, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    What You'll Do

    • Operate grinding equipment safely and efficiently to process PVC lineals to PVC regrind.
    • Inspect and prepare quality of incoming material regarding color and to ensure it is free from weatherstrip and other contaminants. Inspect outgoing regrind for quality.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
    • Support VEKA's ongoing commitment to recycling and sustainable manufacturing.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Why This Role Matters

Every pound of PVC recycled helps reduce waste and allows VEKA to reuse valuable material in our products. The work is repetitive and process-driven, but it is essential to support our environmental initiatives and keep materials in the manufacturing cycle instead of landfills.

    What We're Looking For

    • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
    • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
    • Commitment to safety and quality.

    Qualifications

    • Forklift certification preferred (training available for qualified candidates) to move material into and from the recycling area, but not necessary to apply for this job opportunity
    • Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.

    Why VEKA?

    • Be part of a company committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
    • Contribute to products made from recycled materials.
    • Flexible shift opportunities.
    • Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth.

Build a Greener Future with VEKA

If you're looking for a hands-on role where your efforts help reduce waste, support recycling, and contribute to sustainable manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and become part of VEKA's recycling and sustainability mission.
