Plastics Operator:
Were looking for candidates with Machine Operator experience and a willingness to learn to join our clients team in Medina, Ohio. Previous plastics or extrusion experience is helpful, but not required.
Our client is a fifth-generation family company with a strong focus on honesty, integrity, and diligent craftsmanship of their products.
Shifts:- 2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2pm-10pm training from 6am-2pm for 8-12 weeks
Pay:
- 2nd shift: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Produce products using several processes including pouring, extruding, pressing and dipping
- Measure, record, and adjust machines to maintain product consistency
- Stacking pallets
- Record data into the production tracking system
- Minimize downtime / scrap and recommendations on improving performance
- Trouble shoot machine/raw material issues
- Work/communicate with other departments as needed
Minimum Requirements:- Prior machine operation experience required
- Prior experience in the plastics industry preferred
- Extrusion machine operation experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read/write/perform basic math
- Good manual dexterity/coordination
- Can stand 8+ hours a day
- Must be able to tolerate hot conditions

- Ability to work in hot, fast-paced environments
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to production needs
