HireCall is seeking dependable and hardworking Plate Blaster Helpers for a leading air cooler manufacturing facility in Verdigris, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing with a stable first-shift schedule and overtime opportunities.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Saturdays as needed
Pay:
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading steel plates into blasting equipment.
- Prepare metal materials for the blasting process by removing debris and ensuring proper placement.
- Support Plate Blaster Operators with daily production activities.
- Inspect materials before and after blasting for quality.
- Operate overhead cranes or forklifts (if qualified and trained).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and working throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when production requires.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus but not required.
