Plate Mounter Technician

• Plate Mounters are to follow the job schedule for each press.
  • Always keep as many jobs mounted ahead as possible.
  • Minimize scrap by using correct adhesive for the type of art on plates.
  • Use Hot melt glue on plate edges and wrap mounted plates with plastic wrap to ensure no lift.
• Endeavor to stay ahead on each press schedule.
  • Be ready at all times to re-mount plates and fix worn plates.
• Maintain proper amounts of plate adhesive.
  • Notify Supervisor when amount of plate adhesive is low.
• Communicate any and all problems with Lead Person/ Supervisor.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• High School Diploma/GED Certifications required
• 2-4 experience in a related field required.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Have basic mechanical skills
