Plate Rolling Machine Operator

Position Overview
AAA Technology is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plate Rolling Machine Operator. In this role, you will set up and operate a 4-roll hydraulic rolling and bending machine to shape metal components according to strict engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Machinery: Set up, adjust, and operate a 4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machine.
• Drawing Reading: Must be capable of interpreting fabrication drawings and bending requirements including tolerances.
• Quality Control: Must be capable of utilizing precision measuring tools and gages to inspect parts and verify accuracy.
• Component Fabrication: Roll clamp halves from flat bars and produce other custom formed shapes. Prior experience with hydraulic press will be helpful
• Material Handling: Load, position, and secure heavy metal plates and bars safely.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on rolling equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience operating hydraulic plate rolls (4-roll experience highly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Must be capable of reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Basic math and geometry skills for calculating bend allowances and material stretch.  Must be capable of adding & subtracting feet, inches & fractions.
• Precision: Proficiency with inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, templates, and radius gages.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to workshop safety protocols and PPE requirements. 
• 1+ year of experience in bandsaw operation
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; any advanced education is a plus.
• Team Attitude: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering strictly to safety protocols and quality standards.
