Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For
As a Plate Maker, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing our products to life by preparing and producing high-quality printing plates for production. You'll operate and maintain our Heidelberg Suprasetter Kodak Magnus 400 platesetter. From Set up to Finish: Your Role in the Process
- Review and follow job tickets to ensure every project meets customer specifications and deadlines
- Track production time and materials by entering accurate data into company systems
- Operate safely and follow established production procedures to keep workflow moving efficiently
- Communicate with team members to trouble shoot issues
- Maintain a detail-oriented mindset to ensure high-quality production standards are met consistently
- Step in where needed, including overtime opportunities, to help the team deliver on schedule
The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and dependable work history
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Basic mathematical skills including percentages, weights, and measurements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining company equipment and work areas
Your Production Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
