Plater 1 - Afternoon Shift

Looking for an entry level opportunity at a fast paced, growing company? Join the Douglas Finishing team as a shop laborer. Assist and learn along the side of experienced Platers and Painters in obtaining high quality finishes and methods for our company and customers.

A day to day glimpse of responsibilities include:

• Learning racking techniques that optimize part quality and quantity
• Building racks to optimize quantity of new product
• Understanding and using proper post-plating procedures for rinsing and drying parts
• Following inspection and packaging procedures

The person in this position must be able to learn the daily essential responsibilities and goals to perform successful results.

The base pay for this role is $17.50-$20.00 per hour. This position receives an afternoon shift differential of 15%, resulting in an adjusted wage of $20.13-$23.00 per hour.
