Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD systems, and platform orchestration tools. The ideal candidate will help design, automate, and scale our development platform ecosystem - enabling seamless integration, deployment, and infrastructure management across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep, ensuring reusability, scalability, and automation.
- Integrate and manage developer platform orchestration tools such as Port, Humanitec, Backstage, or Spacelift to streamline developer workflows and infrastructure management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure consistent delivery pipelines, infrastructure standards, and best practices.
- Support platform reliability, observability, and performance through automation and proactive improvements.
- Document designs, implementation patterns, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with at least one platform orchestration tool - such as Port, Humanitec, Backstage, or Spacelift.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Solid grasp of DevOps practices, automation pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with containerized workloads, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
