Job Title: Platform Engineer – Strong Exp with IaC, DevOps

Location: Warren, NJ

 

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)CI/CD systems, and platform orchestration tools. The ideal candidate will help design, automate, and scale our development platform ecosystem - enabling seamless integration, deployment, and infrastructure management across environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as TerraformPulumi, or Bicep, ensuring reusability, scalability, and automation.
  • Integrate and manage developer platform orchestration tools such as PortHumanitecBackstage, or Spacelift to streamline developer workflows and infrastructure management.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure consistent delivery pipelines, infrastructure standards, and best practices.
  • Support platform reliability, observability, and performance through automation and proactive improvements.
  • Document designs, implementation patterns, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one platform orchestration tool - such as Port, Humanitec, Backstage, or Spacelift.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid grasp of DevOps practicesautomation pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure concepts.
  • Familiarity with containerized workloadsKubernetes, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
