We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our dev ops team to help us manage our diverse and growing set of initiatives. This position is a contract role and can work remotely anywhere in the US or outside of the US. They should be willing and open to collaborate with our US-based engineering team during their business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE)
- Create and maintain Helm charts for applications and services
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and availability (load balancing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery)
- Set up and manage observability and monitoring solutions (Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
- Provide operational support for primary revenue-generating applications, participating proactively in incident resolution
- Guide development teams on infrastructure best practices, security standards, and platform usage
- Contribute to the teams on-call rotation

- Hourly Rate: $30-40/hour
