We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer VI – Data Services to design, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data platforms, AI workloads, and production services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, containerization, and Python development while ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Glue, Athena, EMR, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Artifactory.
Manage AI runtime infrastructure and cloud deployment environments.
Support AWS Neptune graph database environments, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
Develop automation tools, internal utilities, and deployment scripts using Python.
Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response for production systems.
Manage IAM policies, secrets management, networking, and secure cloud connectivity.
Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to support infrastructure requirements and system integrations.
Ensure platform stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
5+ years of Platform or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
Expert knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Glue, Athena, EMR, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
Strong experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD.
Strong Python programming skills with experience developing automation and tooling.
Proficiency with Linux systems and Shell scripting.
Experience with Git, REST APIs, and AWS SDK (Boto3).
Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, CIDR, NAT, firewalls, and security groups.
Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code reviews, version control, and automated testing.

Education
