Platform Partners design, build, and scale firm-wide platforms and value-creation initiatives that enhance portfolio company performance and investment outcomes. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and portfolio support.
Platform Partners work closely with investment professionals, operating partners, and portfolio company leadership to deliver repeatable capabilities across the portfolio.
Build and manage platform functions that support portfolio companies (e.g., talent, GTM, finance, data, technology, operations)
Develop standardized tools, playbooks, and best practices for portfolio-wide use
Partner with portfolio company executives to deploy platform resources and initiatives
Support value creation planning during pre- and post-investment phases
Lead cross-portfolio initiatives such as talent acquisition, vendor partnerships, and operational optimization
Track impact and ROI of platform initiatives using KPIs and performance metrics
Collaborate with investment teams on diligence and post-close execution
Serve as a trusted advisor to portfolio leadership teams and internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience in private equity or venture platform roles, management consulting, or senior operational leadership
Strong understanding of portfolio operations, scaling businesses, and value creation frameworks
Proven ability to design and implement scalable processes and shared services
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline
High ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating across multiple companies
