The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Starburst platform installation, configuration, and administration on OpenShift/Kubernetes, and a proven ability to maintain stable production environments, resolve complex incidents, and drive platform best practices.Responsibilities: Install and configure Starburst across production and lower environments. Plan, coordinate, and execute platform maintenance, disaster recovery, and software release activities. Serve as L3+ escalation for platform issues, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Configure and tune environments for performance, reliability, and security. Perform capacity and stability monitoring, and assist with metrics collection and reporting. Define, review, document, and communicate standards and best practices for the shared platform. Configure connectivity for Starburst, including JDBC and data source integrations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience with Starburst software installation and configuration. Working knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes, including containerized deployments. Proven troubleshooting and incident resolution skills at L3 or higher. Ability to analyze and communicate root cause and remediation steps clearly. Familiarity with Starburst security model and best practices. Experience with connectivity configuration for Starburst and SQL query tuning. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
