What You Will Be Doing:

You will be working within our plating department to observe and maintain the chemical tank operations, inspect racks on the plating and powder coat lines, and conduct analytical laboratory work to support plating operations and ensure wastewater compliance.

  • Ability to adjust process chemistry or process controls, in consultation with a lead or engineering
  • Handles hazardous chemicals and regulates wastes
  • Performs inspections of work areas, equipment or storage areas as directed by a lead or supervisor
  • Collects process, analytical, or chemical samples and perform chemical analyses including titrations, atomic absorption spectroscopy, colorimetry, gravimetric analysis, etc.
  • Calculates mass balances on process tanks and determine chemical additions
  • Cleans and maintains chemical tanks, pumps, process piping, electrical busywork, and fluid systems
  • Assists in the operation of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant

What You Will Bring:

  • Prior experience in plating, wastewater, or chemical operations environments
  • Willingness and ability to learn
  • Prior Experience working with MS Office Suite and Windows Operating Systems
  • Ability to work in a Chemical Manufacturing Environment and work around tanks and in tight spaces with hazardous chemicals
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and functions including lifting up to 50 lbs.
