The Plating Operator - 2nd Shift is responsible for performing barrel and rack zinc plating and cleaning brazed parts, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

  • Control zinc processing, manage hazardous chemicals, and maintain wastewater systems.
  • Operate plating, deburring, and filtering equipment, and monitor plating thickness and color.
  • Prepare and adjust plating solutions, record production data, and maintain chemical inventories.
  • Ensure a clean, safe work environment and perform additional shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications include high school-level training and 1-3 years of plating experience. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in environments with noise and odors.

Work hours are 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday-Thursday, and 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM on Fridays, with optional overtime. The pay ranges from $22.00 to $27.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. Benefits include holidays, paid time off, health insurance, 401k, and more.
