The Opportunity:
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Plating Operator to join our team. The Operator will work within a team environment and be responsible for the operation of miscellaneous processes supporting the plating line. This position is for 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm).
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Operation of various computerized automatic plating systems
Loading and unloading of hardware onto and off of plating racks
Taping, wax masking, and demasking of hardware
Operation of heat treat systems
Maintenance of chemical processing lines including:
Making chemical additions and maintaining chemical tanks
Performing routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated
Assisting with waste water treatment
Maintaining cleanliness in and around the equipment
Perform chemical drainage, tank cleaning, refilling, and chemistry adjustments as instructed.
Inspection and/or test related activities to ensure that parts are plated in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
