PlayTown Drop-In Childcare Staff

PlayTown Drop-In Childcare Staff:

• PlayTown Staff provide care for children 6 weeks old to 6 years old in the YMCA drop-in childcare. PlayTown drop-in childcare is available for Members and Employees using the YMCA facilities.
• Engage in a variety of activities with children such as crafts, active play, reading books, music and more, all in a safe and fun environment.
• PlayTown Staff engage in all activities associated with daily care, activities, and routines of children, including but not limited to: interacting with children at floor level, careful and attentive supervision, and communication with both child and parents
• At least 15 years old

• Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment
• 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met:
• The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years
• The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods
• The employee is 21 years of age or older

Shifts Needed:

Morning shift: 8:00am - 12:00pm (1-2 shifts per week Monday through Friday)

Evening Shifts: 4:00pm - 8:00pm (1-2 shifts per week Monday through Thursday)
