Description
This position is strictly for the County Club Plaza. It is an overnight position, with hours from 7 pm to 7 am. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERNIGHTS. This position pays a $1 per hour shift differential. You are also required to provide your own firearm. We provide uniforms, body armor, and some of the duty gear.
The position will provide on-site security to the County Club Plaza. Officers will patrol on foot and in vehicles, responding to calls for service and remaining visible as a deterrent to crime.
Officers will be required to walk up to 10 miles a day, and you may also have to climb ladders and access rooftops.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Operate and monitor security surveillance systems to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
Control access to buildings by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to report and investigate incidents.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, security incidents, and irregularities.
Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats and promote a safe environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Security Officer.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to operate surveillance and security equipment effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
Capable of remaining calm and making quick decisions in emergency situations.
Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties and respond to incidents as needed.
Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
MUST provide your own handgun (9mm, 40cal or 45cal)
MUST provide a duty holster (Level II or III) and gear (belt, handcuffs, flashlight, etc.)
