Location: Terrell, TX & Surrounding Areas
Pay: $35–$45/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available

Express Employment Professionals — Terrell is hiring a controls-first maintenance pro to support leading manufacturing facilities across Rockwall, Kaufman, and Van Zandt counties.

Are you the person everyone calls when a line goes down?

• Do you thrive on diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment while production is live?
• Can you navigate Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi environments with confidence?
• Is ladder logic, I/O mapping, and HMI troubleshooting second nature?
• Are you comfortable adjusting or modifying PLC programs to solve problems?
• Do you own the electrical side—motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, 480V—and jump into mechanical as needed?

What you’ll do

• Rapidly pinpoint faults in automated systems and restore uptime
• Leverage schematics and logic diagrams to guide repairs
• Support program changes that improve reliability
• Collaborate across production and maintenance to keep equipment safe and productive

What we’re looking for

• Proven PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
• Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Familiarity with VFDs, servo motors, and complex automation
• Industrial/manufacturing maintenance background
• Self-directed, fast problem-solver

Preferred

• Editing/creating PLC code
• Robotics (Fanuc, ABB, etc.)
• Electrical certifications or technical schooling
• Commissioning/installation of new equipment

Compensation & opportunity

• $35–$45/hour DOE
