Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) / PLC Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation / PLC Technician to support production and facility operations at our Vineland, NJ site. This role focuses on PLC troubleshooting, electrical/instrumentation maintenance, and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and modify PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) using laptop-based software
• Install and program VFDs, sensors, photo‑eyes, proximity switches, transmitters, and safety systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment changeovers to maximize uptime
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical drawings, and control documentation
• Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and vendors to drive process and efficiency improvements
• Provide remote PLC/system access support as needed (24/7 availability)

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years in an industrial or continuous‑flow manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled equipment
• Strong electrical and instrumentation fundamentals
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment

Preferred

• Food or beverage manufacturing experience
• Associate degree or technical certification (Electronics / Automation)
• Experience with HMIs and industrial networks
