Position Summary
We are seeking a senior Plex Manufacturing Finance and ERP Implementation Consultant to support a multi-entity SAP-to-Plex migration across Europe and North America. This consultant will serve as a bridge between Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT teams, helping ensure accurate system configuration, clean data migration, and successful adoption of Plex within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal consultant will combine deep Plex ERP experience with strong manufacturing accounting knowledge, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, purchasing variances, and financial process design. This individual will work closely with controllers, finance leadership, and operational stakeholders to identify gaps, resolve issues, and support implementation activities through go live and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
Support SAP-to-Plex migration activities across multiple manufacturing and finance entities
Assist with manufacturing costing setup, validation, and testing
Analyze and resolve inventory, cost accounting, and financial data discrepancies
Review and validate standard costing methodologies, overhead allocations, inventory valuation, and purchasing variances
Support SCAR reporting setup, validation, troubleshooting, and user adoption
Assist with vendor master data review, cleanup, governance, and process controls
Support chart of accounts mapping, financial reporting, and statutory reporting requirements
Participate in data migration planning, validation, reconciliation, and testing efforts
Work directly with plant controllers, cost accountants, finance teams, and operational leadership to define and document business requirements
Facilitate user acceptance testing, issue resolution, process documentation, and end user training
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices based on prior Plex implementation experience
Serve as a trusted advisor during implementation and post go live stabilization activities
Required Experience
7+ years of Plex ERP experience
Multiple Plex implementation, rollout, or migration projects within manufacturing environments
Strong manufacturing finance and cost accounting background
Experience supporting inventory valuation, standard costing, variance analysis, and month end close activities
Experience working with purchasing, inventory control, supply chain, and production teams
Experience supporting data migration and ERP conversions
Ability to work independently with both business and technical stakeholders
Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
SAP to Plex migration experience
Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience
Experience supporting European manufacturing operations
Knowledge of SCAR reporting and quality processes
Experience with multi-site or multi-country ERP deployments
Familiarity with US GAAP and international manufacturing accounting practices
