Are you the person teams call when data gets complicated? Chipton-Ross is seeking a contract PLM Manufacturing Data Planner to support a client in Owego, NY. This full-time, 1st-shift role (4/10 schedule) centers on elevating part attribute data to power smarter, faster production.
What Will You Tackle?
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Master Data Analysts, and Component Engineers to drive part data quality
- Diagnose and resolve cross-site data issues, system errors, and mismatches with minimal direction
- Advise on automation improvements within PLM to reduce manual effort
- Produce and socialize metrics that track data health and process outcomes
- Onboard and train new engineers in data stewardship practices
- Serve as the SME for database administration and PTC PLM tools, including Windchill and MPMLink

Do You Have the Essentials?
- Excellent communication skills and a solid technical foundation
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in databases
- Background in Manufacturing or Military Specifications
- PLM experience (PTC preferred)
- Ability to independently solve technical problems (system errors, data mismatches)
Nice to Have
- STEM degree (preferred, not required)
- Exposure to manufacturer technical datasheets (TDS)
- Direct experience with PTC Windchill and MPMLink
- Experience maintaining structured datasets in database tools
Education
Accredited High School Diploma/GED required.
