This role combines technical leadership and project management, overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.Strong PLS-CADD expertise is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesLead engineering teams on overhead transmission line projects (69kV and above)Manage engineering scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projectsServe as the technical lead forPLS-CADD modeling, line routing, and transmission designPerform and review structural loading, framing, and foundation design calculationsCoordinate engineering activities across disciplines including permitting, procurement, and construction supportInterface with utility clients, support proposals, and assist with business development effortsMentor engineers and provide guidance on transmission design tools and best practices, includingPLS-CADDQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or related)8–12+ years of overhead transmission line design experienceat 69kV+Advanced PLS-CADD experience requiredStrong background in structural aspects of transmission design (foundations, framing, materials)Experience with transmission structures including steel, wood, laminate, composite; lattice towers a plusExperience supporting EPC or engineering consulting projects for utility clients preferredPE license strongly preferredHybrid or flexible work options may be available after an initial onboarding period depending on project needs and performance.
