Description

PL/SQL Developer needs 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL.

PL/SQL Developer requires:

  • Overall 8-10+ years Exp
  • Strong experience in PL/SQL programming, database performance tuning, and working with large datasets in enterprise environments.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
  • Experience with tools like Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and version control systems (e.g., Git).

PL/SQL Developer duties:

  • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements.
  • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to database design decisions.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
  • Support production systems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
