Job Description
PL/SQL Developer needs 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL.
PL/SQL Developer requires:
- Overall 8-10+ years Exp
- Strong experience in PL/SQL programming, database performance tuning, and working with large datasets in enterprise environments.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with tools like Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting and version control systems (e.g., Git).
PL/SQL Developer duties:
- Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to understand data requirements.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to database design decisions.
- Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.
- Support production systems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
