Under the direct supervision of the Shop Supervisor, or other designated personnel, performs skilled journeyman level work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of Plumbing systems, following recognized techniques and procedures according to the National and State Plumbing Code. Repairs and replaces damaged plumbing fixtures: sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs. Opens clogged drains with plunger or snake. Replaces broken and defective piping. Routinely inspects connections and other system parts for leaks and corrosion.
Perform maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance using a computerized maintenance work order system. Provide written(electronic) records of work completed on a daily basis. Communicate with Supervisors personally or through electronic forms of communication. (email, phone use etc.). This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Base Rate: $46.21 per hour
