Plumber

Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for experienced Commercial Plumbers to join our team and support our clients ongoing and upcoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings (schools, hospitals, offices, retail, industrial facilities)
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Install pipes, fixtures, valves, water heaters, boilers, pumps, and related equipment
• Test systems for leaks, pressure, and proper function
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues efficiently
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites
• Ensure work meets local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber (journeyman or equivalent preferred)
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and commercial building standards
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Proficiency with copper, PVC, cast iron, and steel piping systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
