Requirements:Comply with all safety guidelines and attend weekly tool talksHelp Plumber with layout and establish elevationsHelp install hangers, hook-up equipment, copper, PVC and cast ironAssist with setting drains, carriers and fixturesMay disassemble and remove damaged or work pipesCut pipes using hacksaw, pipe cutters, cutting torch or pipe cutting machineLocate and mark position of plumbing connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler spirit levels and plumb bobCut and thread pipes using threading machine or by handCut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe fittings by using hand tools and power toolsLoad, transport, unload and furnish experienced trade worker with materials, tools, equipment and suppliesClean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessaryMay erect scaffolding or move and reposition scissor liftMay assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials during installationMay perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of tools and equipmentConduct non-installation work in support of the Fabrication Shop and Service Departments, as assignedPerform related duties as directed by the applicable CES Job Foreman and/or Construction ManagerFlexibility to work overtime/weekends, as needed Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)Successful completion of Plumbing Industry Professional Education (P.I.P.E.)
