Plumber

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumber to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings. The successful candidate will diagnose plumbing issues, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain quality workmanship while following all safety and code requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and related components.
2. Diagnose plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and malfunctioning fixtures.
3. Perform repairs and replacements using appropriate tools and parts.
4. Install water heaters, faucets, toilets, shower components, and related fixtures.
5. Read basic drawings, schematics, and job instructions.
6. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
7. Verify system performance after completion of work.
8. Document completed work, parts used, and any recommendations for follow-up.

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience as a plumber or equivalent trade experience.
2. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
3. Knowledge of plumbing tools, fittings, and installation/repair methods.
4. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safe work practices.
5. Valid driver’s license if the role requires travel between job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Trade schooling, apprenticeship completion, or recognized plumbing certification.
2. Journeyman or Master license where required by state regulations.
3. Experience with service calls and customer-facing work.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and move equipment and materials.
2. Ability to work in confined spaces, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as needed.
