+ Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and long-term system performance in all tasks.

+ Support general facilities and building maintenance activities as needed, including basic mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, and building repair work.

+ Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and alignment with the organization’s mission and operational goals.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience in industrial, commercial, or facilities settings.

+ Broad knowledge of sanitary, vent, domestic water, storm, gas, and process piping systems.

+ Hands-on experience installing and maintaining piping using soldering, brazing, press-fit (ProPress), solvent-weld, threaded, and mechanical joint methods.

+ Strong knowledge of boiler systems, water heaters, and compressed air systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and plumbing or mechanical drawings.

+ Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

+ Experience using CMMS or work order tools to document tasks, comments, and follow-up actions.

+ Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in facilities maintenance and building maintenance environments.

+ Experience in general mechanical and electrical maintenance support.

+ Exposure to painting, carpentry, and maintenance repair tasks in a facilities setting.

+ Comfort working with PVC and other plastic piping systems.
