Responsibilities:
- Performs assigned preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Performs on-call duties as assigned.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and team skills.
- Integrates safety procedures into every job task.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University's mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years employment experience in plumbing is required.
- Proficiency in the use of power tools (drills, saws, sanders, etc.) is required.
- The successful completion of OSHA/safety training in PPE, forklift operation and related topics is strongly preferred.
- Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
- Must possess a current and valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
- Must agree to the Universitys Employee Statement of Understanding.
