**Key Responsibilities:**
- Set plumbing fixtures, and fittings in new construction projects at schools, nursing homes, banks, and other
commercial facilities.
- Installing new underground plumbing, valves, fittings, tubing with use of couplings, assemble pipe sections,
clamps, screws, bolts, caulking, etc.
- Assist with carrying and installing equipment such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, and appliances.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems and assist in troubleshooting plumbing issues.
- Help with the preparation and setup of tools and materials for plumbing projects.
-Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with all regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, techniques, and tools.
**Qualifications:**
- Interest in pursuing a career in plumbing or a related field.
- Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment and perform physical labor.
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in residential and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.

**Work hours: Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.--3:30 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch.
**Pay is $28--$38 per hour DOE.
