Plumber Lead

Position Details:

• Location: Morton Plant Hospital - Clearwater, Florida
• Status: Full-Time
• Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
• Days: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs water, steam, condensate, pneumatic, fuel oil, natural gas, medical gasses, fire main, soil drain and sewer piping, valves, pumps, traps, regulators, distribution infrastructure and fittings in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
• This position provides indirect guidance to others and to provide project specific management to others.
• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include plumbing and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent / Technical School

Licenses

• Required: Medical Gas Certification / Plumber Journeyman Apprentice Graduate
• Preferred: Journeyman Plumbing License

Experience

• Required: 10 years Plumbing experience / 5 years experience in a hospital setting
• Preferred: 5 years hospital maintenance
