The Plumber installs, assembles, and supports new construction residential plumbing systems in modular home units during the manufacturing process. This position works in an indoor plant environment and/or in the field and follows standardized production methods to ensure plumbing systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable plumbing codes and quality standards.
Work Schedule & Benefits
Full-time schedule, typically Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.
Pay rate: $25.00/hr.
Eligible for Paid Time off and 401 (k) after 90 days
Benefits after 60 days: Health, Dental and Life Insurance
Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install residential plumbing systems in modular home units according to production plans and work instructions
Measure, cut, assemble, and secure piping materials (PVC, PEX, copper, or other approved materials)
Install drains, vents, water supply lines, fixtures, tubs, showers, and related components
Perform basic pressure testing and visual inspections to verify proper installation
Read and follow basic blueprints, schematics, and layout markings
Identify and report installation issues or quality concerns to supervisors
Coordinate work with framing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing teams
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
Meet production timelines while maintaining quality and safety expectations
Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations
Required Qualifications
One year of plumbing experience work experience is required.
Working knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
A positive attitude and ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to prioritize safety in a manufacturing and worksite environment
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces
Ability to work indoors in a warehouse environment with noise, dust, moisture, and varying temperatures
